My name is Aqeel and this is my photography website, Safarnama Photography.

The Safarnama is an 11th century piece of travel literature, written by Nasir Khusraw. It's an account of his 7 year journey through the Islamic world.

​

I myself am a traveller. Originally from the UK, with Pakistani heritage, I now live and work in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This website is my attempt to document my own travels through photos and blogs.

​

I believe in using photography to shed light on someone else's point of view, and to give time to notice the detail in what can be very rushed every day life. I therefore hope you enjoy the images I take of the people and places I've seen.
